 Our Program

SYBA is a developmental basketball league providing winter recreation and mentorship to boys and girls in Stafford and the surrounding areas. SYBA is structured in four divisions based on grade levels for boys and girls ranging from age 5 to 13 years old. Each team consists of 8-10 children, a coach, assistant coach and a team parent. Our program has special rules and policies that ensure fair and equal play. Every child has the opportunity to play every game without any requirement to try-out. Our goal is to maximize team values, develop character and self-esteem of every child, while developing the movement patterns and energy system for skillfully playing the game of basketball.

Our Mission is to teach fundamental basketball skills while developing team values, character and self-esteem in a competitive atmosphere.
